Radio India isn’t a specific radio station, but rather a word that could refer to different radio stations and broadcasting services in India. Radio broadcasting in India began in 1922 during the British Raj. The Indian Broadcasting Company Ltd (IBC), the first private radio station, was founded in 1927.
