AIR Malayalam

All India Radio (AIR) Malayalam, popularly known as Akashvani Malayalam, is the national public radio broadcaster’s Malayalam-language service. AIR Malayalam, which broadcasts from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, delivers a wide range of programs, including news, music, discussion shows, educational content, and cultural highlights, to appeal to its listeners’ diverse interests. One of its most notable programs is “Vayalum Veedum,” an evening radio show devoted to agriculture and rural development. Established in 1966, it is one of India’s longest-running radio broadcasts, with over 18,000 episodes.
